Running Wild

I used the natural edge of Mexican onyx slab and followed the contours of the colored layers to mimic mountains. I added steel silhouettes of horses and mountains to give it some depth and a 3D effect.
The onyx is translucent so illuminating it with white LEDs highlighted the peaks to give it a snow capped effect. Resting on a custom Belgian black marble base.
32" W x 8" T x 6" D
